The “e-Uparjan Plus System” is an initiative of the Department of Food, Office of Collector, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh to strengthen the Procurement operations (under MSP) and to develop near real-time reporting mechanism at different levels and a decision support system for enhancing the forecasting, monitoring and tracking capabilities of the Department. In addition, this system will also bring in transparency and efficiency in procurement of wheat at minimum support price and develop a unified database of land & farmers of the state. However, the most important outcome of the project is speedy and transparent transfer of the MSP dues of the farmers into their account directly. The “e-Uparjan plus System” is a middleware application which will integrate the CLR Land Record & e-Uparjan process.

E-Uparjan is registered for procurement of grain of farmers, after registration, the farmers will be given SMS. Purchase centers are called for purchase, they are given a receipt for selling grains and the amount of grains sold by them are deposited in their bank account in seven working days. The grains purchased through e-acquisition software are sent to the storage centers. The entire process of procurement of grain procurement in the earning center is done only through e-governance software.
